A Sydney Dwelling, Redesigned For Eating Amongst The Treetops
A sequence of unsympathetic renovations had left this household dwelling in Woollahra, Sydney, in a confused state. When Caitlin Parker-Brown, director of inside design agency Parker Studio, was introduced on to the mission, she was tasked with creating a brand new floor flooring structure inside the dwelling’s new footprint, together with a brand new rear extension designed by Chris Kokkinis of Ergo Structure.
The brand new addition to the Victorian-style dwelling now embraces the setting it’s in, with a powerful deal with nature and the encompassing treescape, together with a dreamy muted color palette.
‘We didn’t wish to over design or over adorn the area because it has such a placing view,’ explains Caitlin. ‘It wasn’t obligatory to remove from that.’
